Fildena 150 mg is a prescription medicine that helps treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It belongs to the class of drugs called Phosphodiesterase Type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors and works by increasing blood flow to the penis.
Sildenafil Citrate present in this medication healing the cGMP level, which allows blood to easily flow into the penis. This leads to a firmer erection that lasts for a longer period of time than before.
When you are sexually aroused, a chemical called nitric oxide is released into the penis that stimulates cGMP production. However, nitric oxide is also a weak form of cGMP that is not as strong as the cGMP produced when you are not sexually stimulated.
This weak form of cGMP can be destroyed by the enzyme PDE 5. When this occurs, nitric oxide cannot be secreted.
